Wish List Two: Kid Zone

A cause very near and dear to my heart

Good morning animal and science lovers with big hearts!

As promised, here’s the second wish list you can contribute to if you’re feeling moved!

This Saturday, December 21st, I’ll be participating in a special gathering for Families Living at Ryerson and Hall Street Shelters in Brooklyn, NY. This is a sit-down holiday meal in a warm place with activities and holiday gifts for kids. We’ll have a kids dance party! We’ll take family portraits with a cozy holiday backdrop! I got involved through Kid Zone Distro, an arts and crafts and toy distribution mutual aid effort to support our new neighbors.

- 124 kids living at these shelters have submitted their Christmas wishes to this list and this list if you'd like to contribute presents for them. Those lists are also the high-need essentials list for the shelter communities, so contributing any items on there is a great help.

(When ordering from the wishlists, please select either Megan D or Colene B as recipient addresses in the drop down menu- they are volunteers who will make sure these kids get their wishes met!)
