Welcome to halfway through the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. I read a tweet (I now can’t find) this week that the winter olympics sports all seem like a dare that got out of hand and I agree! Paired with Olympic village drama and backstories galore, it delights. I love following Rodger Sherman’s daily newsletter and of course Frankie de la Cretaz always.

You may have seen that two stoats are the Olympics and Paralympics official mascots- Tina and Milo. They are cute as buttons.
