What an absolute pleasure it was to participate in last night’s Climate Variety Show at the Brooklyn Museum to celebrate pub day for Ayana Elizabeth Johnson’s new book, What if We Get it Right? My four-minute plea to the audience to act on climate in order to conserve the kink lords that make the world go round is at the 41 minute mark!

In the last decade, it’s the climate solutions-oriented thinkers that provide me the most nourishment to stay engaged in this movement. I need help sometimes, amidst all the climate doom reporting, to see where acting from love and joy might lead. In the tradition of work from Joanna Macy and adrienne marree brown, Ayana’s new book helps us vision the delicious future we could have if we act on climate NOW.
